Oh no!

It's only 2 weeks now!!!!

Sorry I'm being such a bad blogger - I just don't seem to have time to write posts and lots of the things I should be working on are presents so I can't show them.

I do have some Christmas-sy Little Locket photos though

first up is poor Cinder-fred-erella cleaning out the fireplace

child labour I know - but he looks fairly happy with his lot doesn't he?

Then we had a visit from Father Christmas himself this evening!

He came to help raise money for the Rotary Club as he does each year - but he's never actually come to our door before - I think he took pity on the littles in their p-js!

and whilst the littlies were being entertained by the big man himself, my gorgeous Dotty Locket was at her first disco at "big school"

I know I'm biased - but doesn't she look gorgeous?

And here she is modelling the new hat I knitted from this tutorial and the scarf she knitted for herself! This chunky self-patterning wool was so cheap but absolutely beautiful!

And talking of beautiful things leads me to a wonderful discovery....................

Amy Butler fabric at our local John Lewis!!!!!

I just couldn't resist!

And today's closing photo illustrates the fact that children just love cardboard boxes!

I just wish I had a photo of when Daisy was "harnessed" to the box (with my scarf) complete with musical reindeer antlers while "Santa" Fred (complete with hat) sat in the box directing her! Unfortunately the box died before I got a pic :o(

I'm FIRST, I'm FIRST!!! Has that ever happened??? I LOVE little Locket photos -- they all look so cute. Dotty is adorable -- she's growing up too fast. And she knitted that scarf??? Great Job!!!

Dot looks gorgeous and I hope she had a fab time at her first big school disco.

Glad to see Fred being put to work sweeping the chimneys :-)

Great cardboard box fun too! Mine are like magnets to anything bigger than a cereal box!!

The stuff Christmas memories are made of. Especially the box bit!

Two weeks!! Why am I on the computer? I have yet to write a solitary card. Yikes.

All small children should be put work in mucky, 'orrible places. He is jolly lucky not to live here at Trash Towers as Ck would undoubtedly demand the chimney swept as well!

P.S. Have you put a block on my blog? Even now (12hours later!) this post hasn't come up in my reader.

Why? Why do you hate me so? Is it because I is going off on TGTH??

LOL @ the cardboard box. My kids do that all the time. Makes me wonder why I even bother with the presents at all.

Miss Dotty looks very beautiful, and very growed-up! I love her dress and it's perfect with the snazzy red shoes.

Lovely pictures of the Locket children. I do like the cardboard box one though, a timely reminder for us that very often children ( little ones) prefer to discard the present in favour of the box!

Dotty looks so grown up. Very pretty indeed, love her dress and bolero. Lucky you with the fabric find. I'm still hoping some might end up in a shop near me.

I lurked and saw this gorgeous post a few days ago and was called away by the tots. Well done Fred on being Cinders - perhaps a panto role soon? Ace that FC turned up - lucky lockets! Cardboard boxes ARE ace. We used one to make a Christmas bauble the other day. Hmm, credit crunch eh?

Dotty Locket must have been the belle of the ball looking like that. What a gorgeous boho outfit complete with knitty magic.

Dot looks beautiful, so grown up. As to the child labour. Shocking there Mrs Locket. Send Fred down to us and my two will teach him a thing or 2 about not helping out. No, hang on, I think I'll send my 2 up to you, so you can teach them not to be so darn lazy!

I have very fond memories of playing in boxes when I was little. Dottie looks fab and so grown up....and I am a fully fledged believer in child labour - especially when you have a "dog!"
