Pass it Forward

I saw this on Leanne of The Stitching Room's blog and decided to join in too:

"I will send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange. I don't know what that gift will be yet and you may not receive it tomorrow or next week... LOL... but you will receive it within 365 days, that is my promise! The only thing you have to do in return is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog."

So I look forward to hearing from you!

Here are some nice photos of the quilts I loved at the Quilt Show at Allington House in Durham on Saturday - what patience it must take to make them! They are called postage stamp quilts and apparently the lady that made them used to cut out the squares and take them on long plane flights! I wish I could do work like this.

Hi Lucy, thanks for visiting my blog, the wholecloth will take some time but I like to be able to pick something up in the evening when I sit down to watch a bit of Tv.When I started attending the FQ's on a Friday,I decided I would try and learn or refine my skills as I am completely self taught. xx Helen

Hi Lucy, I have just visited your blog for the first time - wow! I did a quick read on your profile. I'm a 42 year old untidy Mummy, born in Belfast, live in Australia, like Sandi Thom, LOVE Pride & Prejudice (the series, I could just watch it 24/7), have a stitching business because I love it sew much, have a 20 acre farm with a large vegie patch and I have chooks! With so much in common I'll be back. I can see you've had so many hits I have no chance at your prize, but the prize was finding your site. I'll Be Back!!! PS - Couldn't find a way to email you directly, do you have one?

Hi Lucy, Thank you for your kind words!! I cannot mail you so here’s a tip. When you upload photos you can choose to place them to the left, to the right, in the middle or you can choose ‘none’, it‘s the most left. Then you can choose for small, normal and big. When you want to place photos side by side you better choose small. After uploading your photo you see a whole lot of html text that begins with angle a and ends with angle a (sorry I cannot use html tags for then I cannot post this comment).
The photo you upload thereafter is placed before the one you already uploaded and also begins with angle a and ends again with a angle
These html text will start on a new line. When you put the cursor before the angle a in the second paragraph and click on your backspace button they will come next to each other. So you can put your photos in the sequence that you like. It took me a while to sort out these things, I was helped by another blogger and I just experimented a lot. You have to choose for a template that is broad (big) enough to place photos side by side. So, just try and Good Luck! (I hope I’ve made sense)
