365 Quilt

Here are the first photos of my 365 quilt (from the 365 Challenge idea by Leanne's House). I have decided to make it smaller by putting 3x 5.5", 10 x 4.5" and 10 x 3.5" blocks in each strip. Hopefully it will end up being about 7'x5' (ish). This seems much less scary to me!

The blocks are rather scrumpled but my iron (which never gets used - except for crafting) has decided to die - and I'm not very good at photographing craft things!

I have spent a frustrating day tidying today - however much I move things around I still seem to have too much "stuff" and nowhere seems much tidier to me. The children and "the boss" seemed to think it looked much better though so I can go fabric shopping with an almost clean conscience tomorrow!

I just posted on our Group, about your cute blocks ! Your re-sizing is clever ! I'll have to think about it, as your size seems more manageable to me... Thanks for the tip !
Aaah, tidying ! It'sa never-ending job !

Enjoy your fabric shopping, tomorrow !

Hugs & smiles !

PS : when you visit some blogs, if you read the comments, and then click on the names.... you'll come to their blogs, and if you add a small comment to them, then you'll be getting a lot of them on your blog, too.... You've got to let people know you!
(I usually take half an hour/day to browse some blogs, (all of them would be impossible) and I've made sooo many sweet and helpful friends !
Another last thing when visiting a blog you like : just click on "favourites" on your screen. As time goes by, you'll be having your personnal directory with many friends, reachable in one "click"...

... But maybe you already know all about this....
(I'm a "talking machine" LOL!)

Great start on your 365 quilt and I like your idea for keeping it a more manageable size. Your fabrics are great. Isn't quilting so much more fun than tidying?

Will you sew over the writing. If so will the pen then wash out ?
