Having a lovely time

I've had a lovely day and a half knitting teeny gorgeousness (and doing a bit of tidying and blog-catching up) and the knitting is all thanks to the lovely Julie.  So I don't know why I'm only showing you snippets as you will undoubtedly know what they are - but they are presents for friends and one may be reading this before she gets it (if you're there Bernie, don't tell the others!)  If you haven't made them yet then I strongly recommend them - they are highly addictive and so is the little extra element that Julie has recently added - lovely, lovely knitting :o)

I have also been doing a lot of running as I am trying to get ready for an organised 10k run at the end of next month.  I'm terrified and very tempted to pull out - which is why I'm telling you so that you will all encourage me to do it!  I can't run that far yet - but I can run/walk it in about an hour and a half so that's probably what I'll do - don't let me back out!

P.S I KNEW there was something else I wanted to say!  Is anyone going to the Country Living show on Saturday???

I've always wanted to knit those cuties but have never gotten around to it ... must add on to my 'to do' list. I thought about going to the CL fair but then forgot all about it ,,, doh. Hope you have fun. As for the run I'm sure you 'll do well xx

Sounds like you are busy - crafting and running, what a combination!

I'm sure that you will manage it with aplomb!

you can do that run! it will be worth it, think of that medal around your neck and it will get you across the line.

Don't back out, don't back out!

No CL for me this year, though friends from the village are going. I am working and then workshopping - bad timing on my part!

Oh your knitting project looks like a lot of fun! I do hope you'll show some more revealing pictures soon!
Don't give up on the 10K. It's a worthwhile effort.

Run/walking is perfectly acceptable! We've had a personal trainer at our health center and when she works us on the treadmill, I'm always surprised that she interrupts our runs with walks and stretchs while we're walking. I think I know what you're making, but not sure -- can't wait to see!

That does look like a lovely time :)

On the running thing...wow! I am so impressed that you are training for the day, and whether you walk or run doesn't matter too much, does it? As look as you start and go on and then finish. Can't wait to hear more about it :)

Now I'm going to go look at the link to those charming little dancing be-frocked legs...
