Not for those of a sensitive disposition

Okay then.

So you want to see Mrs Trashy's quilt?

Are you sure?

Yes?

It's a good one!

But first there are some important points that you need to bear in mind

  1. Mr Locket is an archaeologist
  2. Mrs Locket was an ancient historian (before her brain got marshmallowed by having three little Lockets)
  3. Mrs Trashy knows about 1 and 2
  4. Mrs Trashy lives in the South West of England
  5. Mrs Trashy has a bit of a donkey thing going on
  6. Mrs Trashy left me a little warning note on the parcel

and most importantly of all

Mrs Trashy has a wickedly funny, if rather wacky, sense of humour

So you still want to see it?

Still sure?

Really sure?

Okay

Ladies and gentlemen (you never know, there might be a gentleman reading this) may I proudly present Trashalou's amazing mini quilt

and ta-da! here it is on the quilt wall!

What?

That's the back?

Are you sure?

And you want me to turn it over?

Are you REALLY sure?

Ok, here it is

What's that?

You want a close up?

Are you really, really, REALLY sure?

Avert your eyes granny...............................

because here we have the one and only

in ALL his glory!

And for those of you less familiar with this curious Dorset landmark you can find out LOADS more HERE.

Trashy you are a total genius! This quilt had me crying with laughter (and I laughed even more when you told me how much you giggled as you stitched it!) You are completely bonkers and I am so delighted that you are my friend!

Thank you!

P.S. Come back next time when I shall have some nice tame photos of my newly tidied sheds and drying onions and garlic - much less racy!

you people are just sick. (And I mean that in the nicest possible way). Luckily, I wasn't trying to drink tea or anything while reading this post or I would have snarfed it for sure... :)

Locket, I am still laughing as I read. My two just asked what was funny, when I replied 'Locket has blogged my quilt' they just shrugged and went back to look at the diving on telly. I feel they don't appreciate me.......

Glad you like it and feel free to keep it bottom side out - I promise NOT to be offended.

p.s. I deliberately put it on a busy background so you kind of have to focus a little to make everything out. Or not!

Very, very good Trashy, how on earth did she manage to stitch that without wobbling?
I really think it needs to be shown face out, in all it's glory, after all it's only nature!!!

Phew...I thought you were never going to blog this!! Well worth the wait though Locket - fab post and just about the best (only!) donkey porn quilt I have ever seen!!
Great job Trashy! I reckon you could market these in your hill-top town :)

As for Trashy laughing as she stitched...I imagine the poor donkey may have winced once or twice too!!

Thinking it may have to face the wall when the vicar comes to tea.....

Ha ha that is fab. I embroidered the Cerne Abbas chappy on my boyfriends t.shirt for him when I was 15 - don't ask and my mum made me sew on a pair of pants to hide his ahem... bits :)
Great quilt!

I had to look up the reference.
I liked the comment by twiggypeasticks. If you wanted to have the donkey side out you could make a little cover that snaps on to cover his "bits". What a fit! I trust you didn't snort tea or corn flakes on your quilt.

Well I for one loved the racy post - just my cup of tea .... or dodgy mini-quilt ....

Mrs T is quite clearly a genius for dreaming up something so fitting for both you and your hubby - not to mention her - to enjoy!
