I think you could safely say that this little boy is well and truly hooked on his book
especially considering the fact that when Daisy asked whether he wanted to watch a certain programme when he got home from school he said "It doesn't matter. I just want to read my book"
its so nice to see that kids still do that kind of thing, flashback somewhere between five, ten and fifteen years and that was me (who am I kidding, flashback to when I read Time's Arrow at the end of the last uni year!)
The big question though is just what is he reading? x
Fabulous, Lucy. It can be so hard to get boys to read - and so rewarding when they do. And yes, I have to ask too: Fred, what IS that book called?? Happy New Year to you all; sorry you can't make it to the fabulous Trashy meet in Ballarat on Saturday!
Fab pics! That's pretty much what I do when I'm not making stuff. Nose in a book is the best place to be. I can't wait until Miss Grace gets to that stage.
oh how marvelous! I cannot wait until the smalls are able to read themselves & lose themselves in books like I do :o) to pass on love for a written story is such a gift,He looks so cosy there in his little nest! GTM x x x

What lovely photos... and you can tell Daisy that your house looks full of beautiful hand crafted cushions and quilts and not in the least bit messy!
Oh that is lovely. You must be very proud.
well, aren't you going to tell us what the book is? you can't keep us in suspense like this!
Awww, bless him!
Yes, do tell us which book has him hooked!
My son is hooked on the Ranger's Apprentice series, he's onto Book 5!

It's so great when that happens. And how many great handmade accessories you have!
I have a young man engrossed in the very same books! Not ideal that he's still reading at 9.30 on a school night!!
What good boys :-)

I love when a book catches them like that, you must tell us the title, please?
Oh, that's sooo cute! I love reading children- when they finally "break the code" and really start enjoying their reading.
