This is my "design wall" (tongue very firmly in cheek here!) complete with my very neatly categorised crafting commitments. The baby clothes pinned up are for a "Betty Bunny" that needs to be done by the weekend and in the fireplace you can see some of my very neatly folded and colour coded fabric!!!
My job list includes
- 11 Pay It Forward gifts
- 1 Russian Doll Swap gift for Emma
- 1 reversible messenger bag
- 1 appliqued patchwork fleece blanket like this
- 1 Janet Bolton style picture for my friend's birthday - it was in April!
- 2 Dilbert dinosaurs
- 4 Betty Bunnies
- 2 Pocket & Floss Bunnies
- 1 Magoo
- 2 large owls
- 2 small dolls like these
- and 14 mini quilts
and a finished Magoo called Magnus
only this one is a midi-Magoo, reduced to 75% on my scanner because he needs to be posted to Canada.
To give you an idea of size here he is with his very much bigger sister Maggie
I'm really pleased with how he has turned out - he is such a cheeky monkey! And isn't it funny how much more "boy-like" he looks than Maggie - and I don't think it is just because of the colours.On the quilt front, I am at the point of binding on Leanne's, Trashy's and Kate's, three-quarters of the way through finishing the top of Rachel's and I've just made the top of Anne's - and I'm really pleased with how it is going so here is a sneak peek for you........
I know it looks very plain but Anne kindly took me up on the offer of a cream and white quilt built around the lovely embroidered fabric that Lina sent me with my mini quilt - it actually looks really effective in a very simple way!!!

I'm exhausted just reading about everything you have to do... and far too scared to make my own list. Which reminds me I was about to walk the dog when I got sidetracked!
I always feel so accomplished when I start making my lists.. then when I am done making the list, I feel a little exhausted before I even start..
But, about half way through I get my gumption... here's to hoping you find your gumption...

You'll have to be focused and just remember; you can't do more than one thing at a time! But please, don't say that too loud, there could be some men out there hearing you!
It makes me dizzy just to read about how much you have to do - never mind actually contemplate doing it all! I don't know how you do it, I really don't. Lists are the way to go though - if something's not on the list, I forget to do it altogether! x

Ooooh I'm very excited with the idea of my cream and white quilt - one of the reasons I so happily agreed to receive this type of quilt is my quilt group made a collection (one by each of us) of long thin banners in white and cream which could be hung together from a pole as a collective piece of work and then each person could retain their own work - mine is hanging in my hallway on a tall narrow strip of wall by the front door - so I'm already converted on white and cream and it will be lovely to see what variation you put on it

wow, my back ached reading about everything you had made! plus you have three very busy little lockets, an allotment and what seems an enormous house (I live in a very small space). how do you do it all?? sleep deprivation?? lovely work so far and looking forward to seeing the rest. :D good luck with all the other items on your must make list.

The cream quilt 'peek' looks gorgeous. I think I need a little lie down after reading your 'to do' list. Isn't it so satisfying when you start to put a little dent in the list though!

Glad you are all back together again. Just take one job at a time, and then when you finish one, start another one. You'll get there Lucy, but no more onto that list until you get it down an bit!!!
Maggie and Magnus are simply adorable - Maggie is particularly pink and delightful!
Love the Magoo. Turning out is my least fav job.
