Haha Lucy, you're a crack up! At least when you were on the dark side you kept it clean -- your pictures look lovely and that's what I notice on your page, rather than all the doodads, etc. If you're going to scrapbook as you have been, then I give my whole-hearted support! :-)
I have all the ingredients needed to make Leanne Beasley's quilter's journal scrapbook but haven't begun yet. And that will be my only scrapbooking-like project to date.
I must confess that i once too travelled on the Dark Side- then i discovered how portable quilting was and how lovely and soft and pretty quilting fabrics were... *sigh*
I tried scrapbooking once and I was rubbish at it. That's why I like blogging - it does all the things I'd want scrapbooking to do, but faster, less messily and not covered in ribbons and stickers!
Hands up - I too must admit to having been to the dark side. Cardmaking first and then sucked into scrapbooking. I may even go back now and then. There is still much evidence chez Moog in the form of abundant fancy papers and multi-coloured eyelets. I was a child that wanted to live in a stationery shop - nuff said! I love Dottycookie's comment on this one - ha ha ha. You do still want to be my friend don't you? love Mrs Paperfabricyarnpaintpastelbeadchutneypickledonionaddict Moogsmumxxx

Looks like fun playing around with scrapbooking. It's fun to try different crafty things.

Never really tried scrapbooking I failed cutting and glueing in kindy so had no where to go from that.
But I challenge you to do the same thing with cloth! Print the photos, border them, make a tag...you can do it!
