"More pond-slime Sir?"
(ok, so my attempt to recreate the delciously refreshing "fresh mint and limeade" drink that I had at Marks and Spencers a couple of weeks ago really didn't work! Poor Mr Locket did not enjoy it one bit - and he came up with both blog titles and said I had to show you all!)

At least he didn't suggest the post be called 'How to off your husband in one easy jug.'
Oh but you tried ! I'm sure it is much nicer than it looks , isn't it ?
But he still tried it! That's true love! lol
I don't think I'd have tried that either. It looks like algae. He must love you very much.
Perhaps pouring it through a coffee filter before serving would save the refreshing part and remove the stuck-in-your-teeth bits? (In my kitchen, this would qualify as "cooking.")
Oh and you meant well didnt you ? ...love Jan xx
Ahhhh.
It does look rather algaeish. But hey, experimental cooking helps keep a marriage fresh I think.
Oh. My. That's TRUE Love!!!
what a wonderful man!!

He actually drank it? But at least it entertained us!
How on earth did you get him to drink it? Poor man. I made Mr Stressy a Pimms at the weekend...
Poor long suffering man!! He doesn't know how lucky he is to have a loving wife like you . . . . .to make him handmade tasty treats!!
Ah well, that's the way it is sometimes with kitchen experiments. Fred makes a very charming waiter!
Delicious, I am sure... Love the waiter by the way.

They say the key to a good marriage is a sense of humour...sounds like your DH has one...I'd take that as a good sign! :o)
Hee hee - it certainly looks very minty and herby. Shame Mr Locket wasn't keen as it could have been one of his five a day!
xx
Hi. I love mint and limeade too! Caribou coffee makes a great one. Theirs has a bit of mint, mutan white tea extract, syrup sweetner, ice, and limeade. It's amazing!
